The Hudson River Valley Hound Association is dedicated to educating its members on the “Hound”; Emphasizing why they look the way they do, and what their original purpose was. We are also dedicated to educating all our members, Breeders, Judges, and Fanciers alike, on the structural differences among the various Hound Breeds in the Hound Group, as well as their important breed characteristics.

Please check membership level desired: All members have access to the benefits of the club except for the following restrictions. Regular member have voting rights and can hold office. Associate members have no voting rights and cannot hold office. Junior members have no voting rights until they turn 18.

Requirements to obtain membership: regular membership- application read twice and applicant must attend two meetings before vote can take place. Associate membership- application read twice before voting. Junior membership- under 18 years of age, application read twice.
